All blankets should be shaken and aired out. If you want to freshen up your blanket, it can be hung outside for airing when it is a bit humid outside. Wool is self-cleaning and has antibacterial properties. All Høie blankets are washable; use a mild detergent that is designed for wool, or one without enzymes, and wash it gently on a hand wash or wool program.
