Satin is a weaving technique that gives an exclusive appearance with a higher sheen. The weaving technique involves the threads going over four threads, under one, over four, and so on. This means that a large part of a thread lies against the fabric's surface without being interrupted by a counter thread. The weave thus achieves a finer luster and a softer, smoother feel along with a nice drape.
